Hey, beautiful souls! I’m Natalie,

and I’m absolutely thrilled to connect with all of you in this vibrant community.

Each day brings new opportunities for us to share our experiences, and I believe that together, we can cultivate a space filled with inspiration and love. As we embark on this journey, I encourage you to embrace your unique stories and perspectives, as they add so much richness to our collective narrative.

Let’s inspire one another and grow, hand in hand, creating delightful memories along the way!

For those who don’t know me yet, I’m a yoga instructor, nature lover, wellness-obsessed and aromatherapy. I’m living in Vancouver City with my husband and daughter.

I’ve been on the yoga journey for over 10 years. Not only that, but I have been a certified instructor for quite a while now.

I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and have taught a variety of calming and grounding styles, including Hatha and deeply restorative Yin Yoga.

Discovering Yoga’s Healing Power

My relationship with yoga began when in my early 20’s in Ukraine. It was then that I realized the healing power of yoga, and my back was especially grateful.

A pivotal moment occurred when a friend invited me to visit a yoga studio and
I was deeply impressed by the instructor. He spoke minimally, focusing on
muscle engagement and yoga’s effects. He was in excellent physical shape. His influence led me to commit deeply to yoga and adopt a vegetarian lifestyle.

During periods away from Ukraine, yoga became for me like emotional support.
Upon arriving in Vancouver, I often wondered about my purpose here. I envisioned
practicing yoga in this beautiful setting. Observing many people feeling lost, I decided to become a yoga teacher.

How do I handle different skill levels in a class?

I always begin by assessing the skill levels of my students at the start of each class. I provide modifications for beginners and advanced variations for more experienced practitioners. My goal is to ensure that everyone feels challenged yet comfortable, promoting a positive and inclusive.

Outdoors is better

I feel more of a connection with earth, especially when I do meditation. It’s perfect just listening to birds around in the morning. It’s the best way.

My personal practice reflects this holistic approach: meditation and gentle stretching in the morning, with more intensive practice in the evening when possible.
